Minutes of Parish Council Meeting 30th September 2025

It was proposed by Cllr Diver and seconded by Cllr Smith to accept the minutes as a true and accurate record of the meeting. Resolved all in favour.

 Councillor and Clerk’s Report

Cllr Brockway

New Administration at West Lindsy District Council is working well.

There is in the main collaboration across the political parties and division of power and responsibilities.

Local Government Review is continuing. No proposal was put forward under the last administration which was unfortunate.

Proposals from the authorities have all been sent to Central Government and a consultation will take place.

Central Government will make their decision.

Meeting set up for 28th January 2026

Flytipping

Riseholme Lane  is still targeted looking at cameras again on the Lane. Litter still an issue .

Riseholme Bench

Cllr Smith was thanked on behalf of the Parish for getting the bench in place. It was situated so it would face the sun.  The formal photo had been taken.  The wording for the bench was agreed. The plaque would be ordered.

Riseholme Roundabout

The Clerk had a previously written to the Highways Department to raise with them their final report as the conclusion was not understood by the planning committee or officers. A response had now been received and it was agreed that the clerk should set up a meeting.
