The Riseholme Neighbourhood Plan was presented to West Lindsey District Council for final consultation.
The Planning Inspector has also approved the Neighbourhood Plan subject to minor amendments but congratulated the parish on the production of the document.
The referendum was held on 27th October 2016 at The Old School in Nettleham.
All residents were hand delivered a copy of the Neighbourhood Plan to assist them in coming to a conclusion prior to the vote.
The overwhelming response of the community of 89.47% was to accept the Neighbourhood Plan for Riseholme.
West Lindsey District Council approved the Riseholme Neighbourhood Plan on 17th November 2017. They congratulated the community of Riseholme on the achievement.
Therefore, all future developments within the parish of Riseholme have to be in accordance with the Riseholme Neighbourhood Plan.
