University

Alex F-J and Jenny L gave a very informative presentation to all. The University were prioritising Riseholme Campus in their Master plan. The overall view was a sustainable world class agricultural college. There would be student and conference facilities but also improved public access. Projects included the Glass Houses and the Midden Building. They were looking to enhance the natural environment and bio diversity. However, it did also have to accord with the research company requirements. As part of the process they were looking to engage with the Parish and Residents of Riseholme and Parish of Nettleham. The date of 25th June was considered as a potential engagement date and for the University to confirm. The Proposals were warmly welcomed by the Parish and residents present and they looked forward to receiving more information on the engagement evening.
