Cllr Foster welcomed J. Shaw to the meeting and all were pleased to see a Church representative that was interested in Riseholme.

Minutes of Parish Council Meeting 10th May 2022 It was proposed by Cllr Scarborough and seconded by Cllr Diver to accept the minutes as a true and accurate record of the meeting. Resolved all in favour. |

2022/27 |
Councillor and Clerk’s Report Cllr White provided the following information:-
There were bids for the UK prosperity fund which covered Education and Skills, Accessibility and Connectivity and possibility of a Diagnostic Centre at Grantham/ Boston. Carnival in Nettleham was 9th July Neighbourhood Plan Meeting 14th July
Cllr Brockway provided the following information:-
Solar Farm application were in West Burton, Gate Burton, and Broxholme. WLDC voted against them.There is concern as to what happens to the land at the expiry of their use. The litigation in Burton Waters is ongoing. Fire Service did not receive the best diversity and inclusion report. Lincolnshire is supporting Ukranian and Afghan refugees.

Finance Payments since last Meeting
The Clerk confirmed the following expenditure and receipt:- Clerk’s salary Parish Precept £2,000.00
Cllr Foster Proposed to accept the expenditure. Seconded by Councillor Scarborough. Resolved All in Favour
Balance £5,966.00
It was proposed to accept the balance by Cllr Scarborough and seconded by Cllr Foster Resolved All in favour.

2022/30 |
Broadband D. Bull and R. Smith reported on the Broad band position. The CX of West Lindsey District Council had been extremely helpful. There was now a possibility of a signal coming from the Nettleham Police Mast. Conversations were being had as to the company in the best position to help and support. BT seemed not to be interested and it might be Quickline. They agreed to continue to pursue the project.

University Not represented.
It was noted that the entrance to the Church yard had been blocked from the University side and that caused concern.

Church J. Shaw reported that the current vicar was retiring from Riseholme. There were discussions as to who would replace him and what services would be offered. All wished him a happy and long retirement. |
